I actually tried a lot of things, so it might had something to do with the final result, but what fix it for me was to restore bootres.dll in C:\Windows\System32 folder. Startup Repair is a Windows 7 recovery tool that can fix certain problems, such as missing or damaged system files, that might prevent Windows from starting correctly. Well, I did try those commands and they didn’t fix it.įor those that cannot get it fixed with the bcdedit and bcdboot commands and neither the startup repair just like me, I may have a solution.
